Today I was looking back to see if I had ever blogged about how miserable I was working at the radio network I worked at in 04-05. It appears I held my feelings in and didn't blab them on my blog.
Sometimes I look back at my blog to see "Is this how I was feeling when..."
Things at work are kinda rough lately. While I love the ministry and my actual position... it seems that working with other people--no matter what kind of job you're in-- is always going to be difficult.
I've always said that I couldn't imagine another place to work that would be as conducive to being pregnant as my current place of work was. This pregnancy, however, definitely has me thinking differently.
Stay-at-home-mommyhood isn't looking nearly as stressful these days as it used to...
Perhaps the best release of confusion is to spew it onto the screen through my fingers... This is my part of the cyber world. Join in my delirium, won't you?

I don't know why I should complain...
that no one ever updates their blogs anymore. Because, well, I haven't really updated mine in 6 months, and that's fairly ridiculous. Thus, I'm starting back simply. A quick rundown of the life of Mrs. U:
1) Currently 16 weeks pregnant with U3. Had about the same amount of morning sickness as with Mia and don't feel quite as funky as I did with Vince... so my guess is girl. But God always surprises me.
2) Hypochondria back and in full force since I'm preggers again. Need to learn self help techniques or find a therapist ASAP.
3) I've been seeing a chiropractor since February. She put me on B vitamins and some other funky supplements that are supposed to make me feel better. They actually do. But I can never decide if I'm crazy for going to see a chiropractor as opposed to a doctor for my weirdo symptoms. Then again... thus far my docs have been ZERO help. At least Dr. Jamie (chiropractor) is making progress.
4) Speaking of docs, my OBGYN said she didn't want me to go much past my due date considering the size of my last baby. Mia was 8 lbs 3oz... Vince was 9 lbs 6 oz... will that make #3 like 10 lbs 9 oz??? I'd rather not be induced however, so we will be discussing this much I think.
5) Andrew and I are still loving living in a house. I feel like we should be hosting more things and having more people over. I feel a little guilty that we have so much space and I often think we're not being good enough stewards of it.
6) Speaking of the house, I have a new old roommate! Lisa has moved in for a few months whilst looking for a house to buy herself. It's neat having her around though she isn't around much. I forgot how much I liked having a girls' opinion on what I was wearing or thinking. Andrew's the bomb and all but his "that looks fine" never sits quite well with me considering what's in his closet. :)
7) Vince and Mia are ginormousauruses. They are cute and smart and cuddly. And whenever in-utero baby is making me feel odd, Mia always says "Don't worry Mommy, we'll take care of you forever!"
8) Watched a movie called "Letters to God" this weekend. It made me cry for about the entire last 30 minutes and a good 45 minutes afterwards. Very much TOO reminiscent of losing Zack when I was 19. I told Andrew he was no longer allowed to pick out movies about kids with cancer.
9) But enough about me... how are you guys??? (As if anyone still reads this old thing). :)

You know you've been listening to too much main-stream radio when...
Your three your old breaks out in:
1) Voulez vous coucher avec moi ce soir (While jumping on the couch)
2) Shake, shake, shake.... shake, shake, shake... shake your booty (While enjoying her afternoon snack at the dining room table)
3) I LOVE Rock and Roll... (While running in circles around the living room)
and the latest... a little Blues Traveler...
4) Woooahh yeah... why you wanna give me your run around...(I think she sang this one in the middle of reading a book)
My daughter cracks me up.

IT'S ALIVE!
Hey folks! I am still around, just kind of out of the whole blogging thing as of late.
You see, as of December 30th, Andrew and I are homeowners!! YIPPEE!!
The entirety of the month of December was kind of a crazy mess of packing, and cleaning, and signing papers, and negotiating, and planning for Christmas, and going out of town, and celebrating anniversaries, etc. It was a bit stressful, but we have overcome the craziness and we're finally settling in here.
It's super neat to have a house. I love that the kiddos now have room to run and be silly without disturbing our neighbors. I love not having to scrape the car in the morning (or beg Andrew to do it). I LOVE LOVE having tons of cabinets and counter space in my kitchen. It makes me want to be a chef.
We are already diving in to hosting things since we finally have room to do so. We had people over for dinner 2 nights in a row this week even though we haven't fully unpacked. We'll definitely be having a house blessing party sometime in a few weeks to truly kick off the "my house is your house" mantra that we hope to adapt.
I love having people over!!
That's all for now. Must get back to unpacking!
Love to all of you.

Boring? Don't care.
So I never write blogs anymore because I have nothing exciting to write about.
But, ya'll, it's been OVER A MONTH since I last blogged and that's far too long.
Here's a rundown of what's up:
1) The selling realtor for the house we put an offer on has the reputation of being quite good at MAJORLY SUCKING. Thus we are back in the process of looking again. Our offer still stands on the first house, but we're beginning to think we'll never hear back from the bank... so in the mean time we're gonna try and find another dream home.
2) Vince turned one last Friday. He's getting big VERY fast and it's freaking me out. He just recently learned the whole "someone took something away from me so I should cry really loudly about that" game. Oh... how I miss the days of when they're too little to realize they should be mad when someone takes something away from them.
3) Mia is destined for stardome. She has beautiful long curly hair. A really decent voice for a 2 year old. And she seems to enjoy performing. I'm thinking it would be super cool to get her in dance class, because she likes to dance... and actually so do I... maybe I can find a mommy & tot class. That'd be way cool.
4) LOVING my job still. LOVING being back. I had a small pause about the whole thing when I found out Mia was referring to Ms. Lyza as "mommy"... but I guess that's to be expected when her two little best friends naturally call Ms. Lyza mommy. Besides... she insists she's going to marry one of those little boys which would make Ms Lyza a mommy-in-law so maybe she's just practicing for 20 years down the road.
5) Bananas.
Have a great week everyone!

It's September already?
Hey folks! There's been a lot to write about lately, but very very little time to actually sit down and write. Let me catch you up in as little words as possible.
1) I accepted a full time position at my place of work three weeks ago. It is AWESOME! And I LOVE being back. Had no idea that I wasn't fully my happy self until I saw what happened to me when I returned to work. Apparently I thrive in an uber-busy, semi-stressful, constant state of dissaray that keeps my mind engaged. I'm just so stinkin happy now. It rocks.
2) Andrew and I became officially old when we went shopping for our 2nd car. We figured it would be our cool, somewhat-hip, just-to-get-around-town car. We hoped for a five speed of some sort. Maybe an extended cab little truck. Maybe a cool little mid size car. Well... that was a big fat NOPE. We ended up with yet another Ford Taurus. What makes it cool? It's not a wagon. Sheesh.
3) And last, but certainly not least, we put an offer on a house yesterday!!!! If the deal goes through, we will be living in a super duper awesome house with all the stuff we wanted in a house, and be REALLY close to my job and our Church (like I'm talking walking distance). FAB. YOU. LOUS.
4) Also... my kids are cute.

And that's all I've got to say about that.
